ABOUT THE PROJECT:

Thrival Festival is a platform for Pittsburgh to showcase its world-class technology, innovation and cultural assets by connecting local luminaries with innovation-focused programs. I have then been brought on to give the 2 day event a look of its own. The branding process started  with a play on simple geometry and shapes to guide and build various icons illustrating innovation, rhythm and the many iconic sights of Pittsburgh. 

By keeping things interactive but subtle enough to avoid constant distraction, these icons were illustrated with a looping concept in mind. It gave the event some life and character while staying on brand.

Once the interactive stage was developped, we then addapted the look to promote and brand the event further which took place in 4 different locations.
