ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Small Town Pennsylvania is a special microsite project published by PublicSource, an independent news group that focuses on original in-depth reporting about critical issues facing the Pittsburgh region and the state. The project consists of a series of stories that highlight tough subject matter and examine the challenges and opportunities of living and working in the small towns of Southern Pennsylvania.
I have then joined the team of writers, editors and developers to brand the project further with engaging illustrations into one landing page while still focusing on each individual story. It's been very rewarding to see the launch all together as each gif teases the stories deeper with their headline and concepting visual key elements on the series of critical topics.
